About me

I am intrigued by humans – their choices, their lives, their thinking, their behaviour, their emotions. I am a psychologist, having worked in a number of environments before. I have a passionate belief in the Bible, and am committed to leaving the world a better place than I found it. I do not pretend to know all, I am a sojourner, a learner… and I invite you to join my journey.
Recently I was able to make the change from working for others to being self-employed. About a decade ago I injured myself doing work as a nursing assistant after enrolling in my MA degree. It radically altered my life plans and life, however I regret nothing. Today I do work I love, complete triathlons locally and enjoy my life! The journey was not easy, but I offer my life as testimony to what I write about. It works.
I was deeply in debt with credit cards (I owed close to $15K and was unemployed) following my injury because I had to keep paying the bills, yet today I am debt-free aside from a mortgage. I was told I would never run again, today I train regularly for running, riding and swimming so that I can compete in triathlons. My life has been out of control, but by measured steps and consistent stubborness (not giving in to defeat) I have managed to turn it around by God’s grace.
I do not pretend to know everything, and I certainly am learning all the time. However, I would love to dialogue with you more about my journey. If my journey can help yours, then this is worth it…
