off on holidays…
I am leaving my lovely city behind for new adventures for a few weeks… so this will be the last post until SPRING!
We have a warmer winter than usual, and the weather is almost spring-like already. Unfortunately, this means that we have not had enough rain. We rely on winter rains in the main as we have hot, dry summers. Over the last decade we have had increasing water restrictions due to low water in our dams.
Looking after the planet is important, and I hope that going on a holiday where I live out of a case and not much else will remind me about living simply. I am committed to living a simple life, however I think the tendency to more gadgets, more stuff creeps in quietly as we go through life. So, this holiday is a time of refreshing and rest in more ways than one…it will give me the time to refocus on my core values.
